Gumboot Friday is a great initiative that provides funding to offer a free counselling service for any young person in New Zealand aged 25 and under dealing with depression and mental health challenges.

Quality Marshalling, Timaru branch that manage and run the Timaru Container Terminal have really backed the Gumboot Friday fundraiser and raised an impressive $1290.80.

The Team ran a Raffle, Melbourne Cup Sweepstakes and a Homemade Baking Stand.

The big hit this year with the fundraising was the baking, which staff, customers and contractors enjoyed having Slices and Cupcakes that were made available each day for sale.

Another hit was the raffle to win one of three goody filled baskets and a fourth mystery basket, these hampers wouldn’t have been made possible without the generosity of our amazing contractors who contributed Hats, T-Shirts, Hoodies, Travel Coffee Mugs and even supermarket and Fuel Vouchers.
