MetroPort Christchurch

Effective 3^rd of July 2023 Quality Marshalling is now the site operator for Metro port Christchurch.

The Metro port facility in Rolleston offers Canterbury importers and exporters additional flexibility and opportunities with significant storage capacity for FCL cargo including 128 TEU of powered Reefer slots and rail connections to both Timaru Container Terminal and Lyttleton Port Company

QM have a Kalmar DRT450 Reach Stacker and Omega Top lifter on site and offer site customers FCL and Reefer container storage solutions including 7 day per week Reefer monitoring services. We are currently managing container handling for CODA and have a permanent on site staff member operating 5 days per week with additional support from Timaru when required.
