A specialised workshop at the Tauranga Container Terminal services the straddle carrier fleet for Port of Tauranga. The straddles are large specialised machines designed to lift, stack and move containers around the terminal and deliver containers to and from the vessels.

The workshop also undertakes the maintenance of QM’s owned fleet including reach stackers (containers), top lifters (containers), port tractors and trailers (moving containers), as well as the servicing of the QM generators.
