QM manages the Ruakura Inland Port, a joint Venture between Tainui Group Holdings and Port of Tauranga limited. The Inland port provides Waikato based importers and exporters a fast and efficient rail connection to both Ports of Auckland and Port of Tauranga.

QM is responsible for all managing all operations on site including receival and delivery of containers to the terminal via trucks and rail, stacking and management of cargo on site including Reefer monitoring and the operating and maintenance of all equipment.
