QM manages the Timaru Container Terminal at PrimePort Timaru, the regional port for the Mid and South Canterbury regions.

QM is responsible for planning of loading and unloading via the terminal operating system (NAVIS), receival and delivery of containers to the terminal, and operating and maintenance of all equipment. QM also manages the break bulk vessel operation, predominantly steel product that is stored on site and distributed to customers.
